Coin Club Show & Tell Gallery

Show & tell, where club members bring a numismatic item or two to briefly show and talk about at club meetings, is one of the popular features of our local Tacoma-Lakewood Coin Club meetings, as well as at many other coin clubs nationwide.

Some clubs have a specific show & tell topic or theme each month, but currently, all numismatic items are welcome at the TLCC.

Several club members typically participate each month and may sometimes receive a ticket for a special show & tell prize drawing, or an extra ticket for the main raffle.

Many show & tell items were photographed at club meetings from Sept. 2002 to Jan. 2022 (virtual meeting). The items shown truly illustrate the wide variety of numismatic items that club members collect. Show & tell is a basic form of numismatic collector exhibits, so we also refer to show & tell displays as “exhibits.”

The spectacular 1893 British Royal Wedding commemorative medal shown above is an example of a show & tell item from the February 2004 club meeting.
