Does the club publish a newsletter?
Yes, the club has published a monthly newsletter for most of its history, however, newsletters may contain private information and are not currently available on this website. The newsletter often featured interesting articles about numismatics in addition to news about the club. As we continue working on this website, some content from recent newsletters may be incorporated into publicly available news documents. These documents will list the educational programs given at club meetings, so that you can request more information.
What is the current newsletter status?
Club president Todd Hughes began writing a short newsletter as of July 2020, and monthly meeting announcements are sent by email to club members, along with the newsletter. Please contact webmaster Eric Holcomb (or info@tlcc.info) for more information. Eric also serves as the assistant newsletter editor.
Has the newsletter won awards?
Yes, congratulations to former TLCC newsletter editor Rick Schulz, who received a PNNA Presidential Award, the first ever awarded, at the PNNA Annual Convention in Tukwila, April 13-15, 2007.
The TLCC newsletter was published monthly by Rick (until early 2015) and was mailed (or emailed in PDF format) to all active TLCC members.
Is advertising available?
Advertising is not available in the newsletter or on the website, unless specifically approved by the club. The newsletter may contain links to websites recommended by the club.
